Shopping online for a telescope has many benefits. All things you see through a night binocular appear green, because you don't look directly at the objects but at their image on a phosphor screen. The waterproof models will be corrosion resistant and buoyant, not just repelling water from the lens. It is also useful in ranging an object that is not perfectly horizontal or vertical, enabling you to determine the range without tilting the entire binoculars.
Binoculars are just a great piece of equipment, when you find the right pair for you, the weight is perfect, as is the balance, the optics are clear and have an excellent field of view. Compact binoculars with their high-quality optics offer excellent edge-to-edge contrast and sharpness. When you consider the cost of a single hunting trip, quality three to five hundred dollar binoculars are a great investment. My personal experience has revealed binoculars in the two to five hundred dollar range perform well and I’ve never missed a sighting because of their quality.
